Our trip to
Seoul went well. It was interesting to see how different air stations are in
different countries. In St.Petersburgs air station we had to wait in probably
not air-conditioned lounge for about 5 hours, and as you can believe we got
pretty bored.
During our
trip the planes we used changed from a propel plane to Korean luxury plane which
had everything and more than you can imagine. Air Korea provided us with seat
screens with games, movies, music, plane tracking, outside cameras and
excellent service in every way. Korean flight attendants brought us headphones,
toothbrushes, warm towels, peanuts, 2 meals, drinks & wine, blankets and
slippers. Only bad thing that I can say about Korean Air is that you can’t understand
the English announcements.
The city of
Seoul is so massive that country boys and girls have difficulties to understand
it (got lost in Seoul at the first night). Anyone from us did not have real
feeling that we are abroad, because we did not have to speak much English
during the first days before we got our Korean friend as a guide. Somi (Korean
friend) teached us with subway and other local maners. With our guide we went
to the highest place in Seoul and after that we understood why we got lost at
the first night. ;)
Our first
weekend in Seoul running out and tomorrow we are going to the school area in
Suwon.
